Now It's Real: Laos Moves Forward on the Vientiane–Houaphan Expressway, from 2022 Study to 2026 Planning

Laos has moved ahead with plans for a new expressway linking Vientiane with Houaphan province, starting with a 2022 agreement and now including fresh surveys and design work in 2026. The project is set to run through several provinces and to a major border checkpoint.
